Car Free Day
September 22, 2020
Car Free Day is an international event that is celebrated each year on September 22. People are encouraged to try a more sustainable form of transportation during their commute—bike, walk, transit, or sharing the ride.
In the DC metro area, individuals can pledge and register to win prizes, courtesy of Commuter Connections. Stay tuned for Car Free Day next year to participate in the pledge. In the meantime, we encourage you to try to make every day car-free.
