- Participate in/promote at least one of the following ATP sponsored events:
- National Walk Day (April)
- Bike to Work Day (May)
- Car Free Day (September)
- Promote Vanpool Connect and Commuter Connections Ridematching among residents and employees
- Promote Arlington PD’s free bicycle registration
- Contribute content to ATP’s website, blog or social media
- Attend one ATP sponsored networking event
- Share Arlington County transportation links
Complete these actions:
- Host an enrollment and a follow-up Champions meeting
- Provide the following information during resident lease and employee onboarding/open enrollment:
Quick Glance and Guaranteed Ride Home
Complete one additional action:
- Establish a property management contact for multiple properties
- Promote at least two transportation programs to residents and employees
- Capital Bikeshare
- Carsharing/On-Demand Services
- Commuter Connections Ridematching
- SmartBenefits/Transit Benefits
- Vanpool Connect
- Set up a transportation brochure account
*Must be at least a Gold Level Champion to earn additional achievement awards
Complete these actions:
- Distribute Quick Glances and Guaranteed Ride Home information to new employees
- Offer up to $255/month pre-tax, combination or direction transportation benefit, as defined by the IRS
Complete one additional action:
- Provide free SmarTrip cards for employees
- Provide Capital Bikeshare corporate memberships for employees
- Establish carsharing business account for employees
- Sponsor an ATP event
You must work with ATP to complete a case study of your organization’s employee achievements.
Complete these actions:
- Train property managers on carpool/vanpool program management best practices
- Form a new vanpool or add at least three riders to an existing vanpool via Vanpool Connect
Complete one additional action:
- Work with parking management to ensure preferential vanpool parking and vanpool signage
- Host an annual vanpool ridematching event with an on-site demo van
